I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU

While working on another project, I found a blog from 4 months after my daughter was born:

You have blue eyes, a button nose, and you do not say very much. You are small, you like to cuddle closely, and we do just about everything together. We watch movies together, we play video games together, and we nap together. We even take baths together. We understand what each other means.

The sun rises by the corners of your mouth–curling into a smile–and the sun sets with the slow creep of your eyelids downward with the rising moon. I speak a thousand words, sing a hundred, and laugh a million–just to see you respond in love. I am so excited for your future, and our future together.
